Survey shows Australians are the craziest online shopping in the world, believing that online shopping saves money
The rapid development of online shopping has turned more and more people into online shopping experts. A recent survey found that Australians are the craziest online shoppers in the world. According to news from Australia's new express network on July 26, the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) conducted an annual global survey of nearly 30,000 consumers and found that Australians are among the developed countries who visit international retailers most frequently online. The survey also found that the reason why Australians turned to online shopping was because more Australians chose to save money instead of spending money. According to reports, 2502 Australians participated in the survey, and the findings were another blow to Australia's domestic retail industry. Australia's retail industry is already struggling because of the weakening consumer atmosphere and the decline in consumer confidence. According to the survey, about 46% of respondents said they would rather save money than spend money, which is higher than 40% last year. At the same time, 54% of respondents said that their desire to buy new products has decreased, which is also higher than 49% last year. They say that product range, availability and price are key factors in their decision to buy from overseas online retailers.
