Pakistan holidays cause the cotton market to slump

As the Eid holiday is approaching, cotton trading continues to be light. However, cotton prices do not appear to fluctuate significantly. At the beginning of last week, the price remained at approximately 3,000 Pakistani rupees per maund. According to Karachi Cotton Exchange (KCA) statistics, the price fell to approximately 2,975 rupees on December 24. Today, the price rose again to Rs 3,025/maund. Although the market is not active, the spot price is firm, maintaining at 3,140 rupees / maund. Experts believe that the market will have to wait a while before it can rebound and enter the track.
