Italy vigorously expands the Indian textile machinery market
The Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers (ACIMIT) and the Italian Trade Commission (ICE) will host a delegation of 10 textile and non-textile companies from India to visit Italy from January 28 to February 2. The members of the delegation are selected with the assistance of Business Co-ordination House, an Indian textile professional consulting company, and are the most powerful companies in non-textile production and high-tech textiles. During the week's visit, Italy will organize a delegation to meet with some major textile machinery manufacturers, so that the Indian delegation will increase its knowledge of Italy’s expertise in the above two fields, and will also showcase the latest innovations in textiles. Processing technology. ACIMIT and ICE vigorously carry out trade promotion activities with India because they see that the Indian textile industry is working hard to improve the quality of textiles and garments. Experience believes that in addition to holding exhibitions and technical seminars, organizing delegations to visit and strengthening the links between textile companies and Italian equipment manufacturers are also important ways to promote trade. India is currently the second largest market for textile machinery after China. Intended India sales in 2006 were 183 million euros, and from January to September 2007 it was 102 million euros. Among them, the largest sales volume is textile machinery, accounting for 37% of total exports, followed by looms, accounting for 24%, and the third is finishing equipment, accounting for 20%.
